Books-and-Authors.net: Where did you grow up and was reading and writing a part of your life? Who were your earliest influences and why?

Dr. Gregory H. Pierce: I grew up in Yeadon Pennsylvania in Delaware County right outside of West Philadelphia. Reading non-fiction books on western and eastern philosophy was of interest, but I felt that writing wasn’t my forte and very difficult. My favorite authors were John Stuart Mill, Immanuel Kant and Socrates.
