It is simply honest, written as if we are speaking to a friend, which lends itself to the informal nature. There is no real rhyme or reason, it just happened organically that way. Also because it is a true story, it flows naturally, simply retelling actual events as they unfold.

Since Kurt "saved" me during the alien invasion, I went and bought everything Nirvana available on the market, and learned Kurt's birthday is on 2/20. The number 220 became an inspirational reminder and because we travel a lot, anywhere we saw "220" it got photographed. Hence the picture book.
220 is also a voltage of electricity, and Mr. Cobain is definitely Energy.

Also it seems Cobain's Spirit is still fulfilling a mission, on the 15 year anniversary of him leaving this dimension. In a new book by Charles Cross, the title is "Cobain Unseen." No kidding. If that title is not spiritually guided, we do not know what is.

 Fysche

A novelist who graduated from UCLA and adopted that unflattering pen name as a way of not becoming too attached to identity / name / ego.

Fysche's first fan letter ever came from Kurt Vonnegut, Jr., and her last one came most likely from someone in Germany or China, as they get bootlegged movies down there, and that is where Fysche's previous films end up - bootlegged. Yes, Fysche is also into acting and hopefully will get more work doing this, as Fysche has just retired from writing. However, one thing Fysche will never retire from is being a Pisces, born on PI = 3.14 the irrational number that goes on and on forever, which totally signifies Fysche's writing style (or lack thereof, Fysche admits self-deprecatingly.) http://www.EternalYouthEmpire.com or http://www.turnermaxwellbooks.com/220.htm

Books-and-Authors.net:  Where did you grow up and was reading and writing a part of your life?

Fysche: My name is Veronica Grey; co-founder of Eternal Youth Empire, born in the Philippines - a mutt with British blood in there somewhere, hence the Grey name. Apparently we are some distant relatives of King Henry VIII, kind of a lame claim to fame. Grew up in Las Vegas just until old enough to get a driver's license to drive to California where we are today.

Books-and-Authors.net:  Who were your earliest influences and why?

Fysche: When growing up, our parents took away television as discipline, so books became friends. In the late 90s a book came to us titled, "Be Here Now" by Ram Dass which sort of guided our life into writing under a pseudonym, "Fysche," in an effort to not be too attached to identity / ego.

Also a huge fan of Kurt Vonnegut Jr. Around the year 2000 he gave a reading at the Getty Center in LA so my friend Klas and I "snuck" into his dressing room like nerd groupies. He was so cool to us because we dropped his lawyer's name, which is how we got past security. The things you can learn on the Internet, ha ha. We handed him a manuscript for a Fysche book titled, "Tails: Swimming Both Ways" and were in shock and awe when just a few days later, a "fan" letter in the mail arrived from Mr. Vonnegut, Jr. It was the first one ever and at the time we were not yet even officially published.

We were deeply saddened by his passing.

God bless all Kurts!

Books-and-Authors.net: What is the Eternal Youth Empire and its mission/goals?

Fysche: E.Y.E. is a duly recognized not-for-profit organization dedicated to sharing our knowledge with the masses about how to maintain eternal youthfulness without external applications or cost! It is simply a matter of unlocking keys that reside in all of us. We describe this in detail in our guidebook, "6 Newly Discovered and Never Before Published Secrets to Eternal Youth and Immortality," which delivers exactly as the title implies.

Books-and-Authors.net: What is "The Motivatrix"?

Fysche:  Savvy magazines love catch-phrases. Fortune Magazine came up with that moniker to encompass everyone in the personal motivation industry, of which we consider ourselves part.

Books-and-Authors.net: "220: S I F T I N G The Alien Battle Royale  or How we met the Spirit of Kurt Cobain" is written uniquely written in a journal / train of thought style - Explain the process and reason for it.

Fysche: It is simply honest, written as if we are speaking to a friend, which lends itself to the informal nature. There is no real rhyme or reason, it just happened organically that way. Also because it is a true story, it flows naturally, simply retelling actual events as they unfold.

Books-and-Authors.net:  Explain your title "220: S I F T I N G The Alien Battle Royale  or How we met the Spirit of Kurt Cobain" in relation to the content. You write the word "Alien" doesn't reference "green monsters" but that "which is foreign" - Explain.

Fysche: This is a tough one because much enlightened thought suggests that everything that happens is "all in one's mind" so how does one explain the fact that "light beings" appear from above and descend and communicate with one? The only way is to tell it as it happens. These light beings are foreign, yes, but not little green men. They are also like a hologram, transparent, radiant, and glowing. Some would call them angels. Others would say aliens. Like all Eternal Youth Empire books, the title delivers exactly what is implied. If we were asked to take a lie detector test about these experiences, we would happily comply.

Remember the film "Ghost" where Demi Moore's character needs proof she is communicating with the beyond and it is not simply "all in her head?" Then Patrick Swayze's character moves a penny up the wall, as "proof?"

Well, in the "220" book, we share the "proof" that it was not just all in our head. It did manifest on this plane. It was not a fun experience. Imagine if you are sitting in your room all alone actually watching a tangible penny move up a wall. It would not be exciting. It would be terror. Same goes for the "proof" we share. It was the most horrific experience of our life, yet also enlightening. One can import how something like that would change you forever.

Books-and-Authors.net: What is the importance of the number 220? Explain the photos of the number 220 in "220: S I F T I N G The Alien Battle Royale  or How we met the Spirit of Kurt Cobain".

Fysche: The ordeal lasted about an entire week with visitations from another dimension. On about the 4th day, another hologram appeared to help guide through it all, because I literally thought I was going to die. This hologram implied It is / was the spirit of Kurt Cobain, which is interesting because I was not a Nirvana fan. Anyone who knows me knows I was somewhat involved with Billy Corgan of Smashing Pumpkins so it was a surprise and shock to meet the Spirit of Kurt, who by the way now has my total allegiance (Billy who?)

You know in Star Wars how R2-D2 projects that Princess Leia hologram that is only several inches tall where she repeats over and over, "Help us, Obi-Wan Kenobi, you are our only hope?" That is how Kurt's spirit looked. Only like 9 inches tall, all glittery and glowing.

Books-and-Authors.net: How important is music to you especially the music of Billy Corgan and Kurt Cobain?

Fysche: This hurts to answer because in my stupid idea of a perfect world, Billy and I would be together. And we most definitely are not - let us set the record Gay right now. (Setting the record straight is so Prop 8.) Pumpkins' recent #1 album "Zeitgeist" and EP "American Gothic" allude to our relationship. Both albums are about a special connection so what the heck happened? My side of the story is this book. Billy is an elusive creature and his side of the story may be in his lyrics. Their newest song "G.L.O.W." might give some clue.

Because Kurt is there for me in a way that Billy is not, my new loyalty is to Kurt - the kicker is because His Spirit claims a lot of the music is written for people he had not yet met, to help them get through what someday would be the "dark night of their soul."

There is a lyric in the song "On a Plain" where Kurt sings,

"Somewhere I have heard this before
In a dream our memory is stored
As defense I'm neutered and spayed
What the hell am I trying to say
It leads my time to make it all clear
To write off lines that don't make sense,"

as he was merely channelling messages from the Universal Mind - past, present, and future - On a Plain. This is similar to how Nostradamus could only give cryptic clues, because even he did not know what they mean.

We are in no way claiming exclusivity to Kurt's lyrics. They may save more people in the future as they have helped many in the past.

In the book we go into great detail which songs specifically reference the Alien Battle Royale - something Kurt channels 12 years before it occurs. Kurt is somewhat of a prophet with a sarcastic wit, evident in lyrics like, "Well I swear that I don't have a gun," from the song, "Come as You Are."

To give you a taste, there is a song "Territorial Pissings" where Kurt sings,

"When I was an alien,
Cultures weren't opinions
Got to find a way, a better way...
Just because you're paranoid
Don't mean they are not after you."

During the Battle Royale, they instructed me to shave my head, which we did, because of the "threat" my death would feel like an electrocution, so it would be better to be bald. Many months later we discover with chills down our spine the nonsensical lyrics in Kurt's song "Lithium:"
"I'm so lonely
That's ok you shaved my head
and I'm not sad"

By the way, listen closely to his lyrics as he actually sings them. They often differ than what is guessed at online. Kurt never lists official lyrics in any of his albums.

No wonder Kurt had no idea at the time what the lyrics meant as he wrote them. (Shaved my head?)
Many people believe the world began with a sound and so music is definitely key.

Books-and-Authors.net: What is a "Twin Soul"?

Fysche:  Rather than reinvent the wheel, let us say that Patricia Joudry and Martin Pressman explain it best in their book, "Twin Souls: A Guide to Finding Your True Spiritual Partner," and perhaps we are all souls connected in a spiritual mission. How many know that before and after Courtney Love married Kurt, she was with Billy Corgan? There is a reason for the phenomena of love triangles, or octagons, as the case may extend. Really we are all a chain.

Books-and-Authors.net:  What do you hope to achieve with "220: S I F T I N G The Alien Battle Royale  or How we met the Spirit of Kurt Cobain"?

Fysche:  God help anyone who receives the "same proof" we did that the visitations were not simply "all in our mind." It ALWAYS HELPS to know someone who has been through it and survives. That is why there are support groups for most traumatic experiences. Perhaps we should start a support group for stigmatics. We are here to help!

Also it seems Cobain's Spirit is still fulfilling a mission, on the 15 year anniversary of him leaving this dimension. In a new book by Charles Cross, the title is "Cobain Unseen." No kidding. If that title is not spiritually guided, we do not know what is.

Books-and-Authors.net:  What was the importance of November 18th?

Fysche:  Many believe there are no such things as coincidences -
It was the day of our safe return home to California after the Alien Battle Royale;
It was the final day of the Smashing Pumpkins' Zeitgeist Tour 2007;
It was the day of the haunting funeral-like foretelling performance of Nirvana's MTV Unplugged in 1993.
Sorry TomKat, it is not about your wedding in Italy. But maybe everything else in this world is ;)

Books-and-Authors.net:  What's next?

Fysche: Again, no such things as a coincidence - only two weeks ago we were introduced to Hunter S. Thompson. We did not pay much attention before because his style is Gonzo and ours is Glitterature, but now we can related to his spirit because we are unwittingly engaged in a dark battle with the law:

Basically the one we love is sitting in jail for a crime he did not commit and all we can say is because he is a Reiki Master, it must be his mission to heal everyone in that detention center, which is hard to swallow, even for those of us doing our best to follow the enlightened path of acceptance.

Books-and-Authors.net: Do you have any hobbies? What are they? How do they enhance your writing?

Fysche: Our hobby is travel and we often find ourselves "homeless" by choice which means we definitely have to live in the present and honor each moment.
It does not matter anymore about our writing, because
maybe all this has drained us forever since we have also decided to quit writing. The press release on that is here regarding our swan song titled, "The Giggle Crack" :
